What makes me happy: The heatwave is finally over! Last night thunderstorms finally arrived and today is humid, but significantly cooler.

What I’m reading: Sebastian Junger’s book In my Time of Dying

What I’m thinking about: After reading Junger’s book, I’m thinking about the universality of near-death experiences.

The state of my writing: I finished the overhaul and now I’m going to reread it. Here’s to hoping I feel that I managed to improve it.
