What I’m reading: Alua Arthur: Briefly, Perfectly Human: making an authentic life about getting real about the end.

What I’m thinking about:  I read this article article about third places and it made me wonder what it takes to build a community in an alienated world.

Summer reading project: Most summers, I try to read something a bit different. This year, I’m reading Epictetus.

The state of my writing: I keep editing, sharpening voices and finetuning the story. It’s interesting work if a bit slow.
